Center for Democracy & Resilience
The mission of GLOBSEC’s Centre for Democracy & Resilience is to strengthen democratic resilience by analysing actors and trends that threaten and undermine democracies, and by delivering innovative, actionable solutions to help democracies adapt to the challenges of the digital age. We deliver impact-driven, data-based research focused on the key drivers of foreign malign influence and their effects on societies, and on systems that can be used to both threaten and safeguard democracies, including social media platforms and artificial intelligence. Our work results in impactful policy recommendations, capacity-building, advocacy, and awareness activities that empower stakeholders and foster resilience.
We generate fresh ideas and collaborate with key partners to drive positive change for stronger democracies in a digital world. We are co-signatories of the EU Code of Practice on Disinformation, members of the EU FIMI-ISAC and other major networks, and we produce internationally recognised reports, such as GLOBSEC Trends and the Vulnerability Index.
